Nerd It Up On Your Wedding

But really they are a very fun couple with a ton of close friends and family that were all too happy to make the trek to Hawaii to see them get married and join in on the fun.

Pinterest Lifesaver
From the Bride: We actually didn't see the venue until 3 days before the wedding! We put a lot of trust into the best vendors on the islands. We chose vendors that had a similar style to what we were looking for, so we were confident that they were able to create our whimsical and elegant wedding. I relied heavily on Pinterest to share what I was looking for -- truly a lifesaver in planning a destination wedding!
The Little Things Mean The Most
It was important for us to bring in some of the things we love into the wedding without it feeling too themed. We were going for "elegant and whimsical with hidden touches of Kingston and Sam."
Personal touches included lawn games, a Darth Vader cake topper, Disneyland fastpass escort cards, an Up inspired mailbox for cards and Star Wars cufflinks. I even had a hidden Mickey in my bouquet.
Schedules & Planning
I spent a lot of time working on schedules, details and communication to avoid any last-minute hiccups. We also tried to cut down as much as we could on the ceremonial formalities so we could spend a majority of the wedding having fun with friends and family.
