When fun-loving meets interior design and this lovely wedding is the result. Satin, lace, and burlap all steal their fair share of attention accenting and highlighting the silver and pink color palette.
Design and entertainment went hand in hand to keep guests entertained on every front. See more of this wedding full of style and smiles in the full gallery here, captured by Eureka Photography.
Toby and Sarah got married at The Winfield Inn this past April and every detail is personal in some way. Sarah wore Jimmy Choos down the aisle and gave all of her bridesmaids Kendra Scott earrings that were hand selected for each girl based on her own, unique style.
Sarah and Toby have a great story behind how they met and began dating. After being sat next to each, and introduced, at a mutual friend's wedding, Toby says he knew instantly that he would one day marry Sarah. With such a sweet and romantic start to their relationship, it was only fitting that the style of the wedding would also reflect that same sweet and romantic nature. There were touches of fun to reflect Toby's always fun and kidding side, and a key design style to reflect Sarah's love for interior design and aesthetics.
With the help of Sarah's long-time professional mentor and a keen eye, it didn't take long for the overall vision and color scheme for the wedding to take hold. Silver pintuck linens help to create the formal evening that they were hoping for, with a multiple course meal served table-side to all of the guests. Touches of burlap and lace rounded out the design, helping to welcome the guests to the natural indoor/outdoor feel of the venue and provide the masculine touch to reflect Toby. And touches of crystals and satin gave just the right hint of girly that can only begin to reflect Sarah's style.
Small touches throughout the day helped to make sure the couple's own personal style was reflected. Toby had an Aston Martin drove in especially for the weekend, and Sarah had custom made chalkboard signs and a vintage vignette to help welcome guests as they walked up the front pathway of the large plantation style house of Winfield Inn.
Both Sarah and Toby's main concern was that their guests had fun and were catered to throughout the entire evening. Guests were greeted before the ceremony with pink lemonade and cucumber water, as well as cocktails passed by the staff. A live, three-piece band serenaded everyone as they mingled on the lawn in front of the intricately decorated ceremony gazebo. And, while guests were being treated table-side to a custom designed menu by the couple, the DJ kept them entertained with his well created playlists. Additional touches included a pearl and crystal, 5-tiered cake designed by Sarah and a poker table groom's cake with bacon (yes, bacon) designed by Toby and amazing personal flowers held and worn by all members of the wedding party and families perfectly created with Sarah and Toby's design in mind.
