Lindsay and Mitch wanted to celebrate the start of their life, together with their favorite people and their favorite things. They had a clear vision of their wedding day, and it was going to include burritos, ice cream, beer pong, and lawn games. They wanted a day that reflected their easy-going personalities and can-do attitude.
They also planned to do absolutely everything themselves. 100% DIY! Even prepare the food!

From The Bride: Our wedding day wouldn’t have been possible without the help from all of our friends and family! From my Nana baking homemade desserts, to our Mom's prepping all the food for our cocktail hour and the village of people it took to set everything up - everything we had envisioned had come to life!
We said our I do's under a canopy of trees, played beer pong and lawn games with our family and
friends, ate amazingly delicious burritos and tacos, visited the ice cream truck for some local ice cream cones and danced for the first time as husband and wife. It was perfect! The entire wedding was planned and coordinated by All Things Love Events.
Our first home together was nestled in this beautiful forest and we created some of our fondest memories there (like getting engaged).
When we came across our venue - The Settler's Loft. We knew it was perfect for us. – we were going to get married in the forest!
From: All Things Love Events - Ceremony. Simply put, it was enchanting! A charming sign would guide guests down a path to an opening in the woods where rows of custom wood benches were set up, decorated with logs, greenery and lanterns. A super romantic aisle carefully lined with candles was awaiting the bride’s entry. (Not to worry, no forest fires were created in the making of this setup!)
This much anticipated and beautiful moment was not without many tears, as personal vows and the memory of loved ones filled the space with such support!
Unfortunately, some family members cannot be with us to celebrate. Lindsay and Mitch placed photos of loved ones were placed in the front row with candles next to them.
From The Bride: The obvious highlight of the day is getting married to your best friend…however, our ceremony felt like so much more than that! We are both typically shy people and thought our nerves would take over the experience... but when we met each other at the altar… it was like no one else was around us. It was such an incredible feeling that we will cherish forever.
The couple had all of their wedding must-haves, including burritos. Ontario caterer, Baked & Pickled brought a Mexican fiesta to this forest wedding. They were serving authentic, traditional Carnitas Tacos, Rice, and beans. Yum!
Lindsay and Mitch had an array of Lawn Games at their wedding like - beer pong and giant Jenga. If you were curious about what beer pong is - it is a drinking game in which players attempt to throw or hit table tennis balls into cups of beer, and their opponents are required to drink the contents of any cup in which a ball lands.
Last but not least, they had ice cream at their wedding. Collingwood Ice Cream, Co. brought in their ice-cream food truck and served up the couple's favorite sweet treat.
Ontario mobile DJ, Can't Stop Dancing played all the couples favorite songs. . All their favorite people surrounded Lindsay and Mitch as they started their lives together.
