Evan and Mackenzie knew that they wanted a fun modern celebration, and that's exactly what they got! Bursting with color and whimsical floral arrangements, this spring wedding will have you craving those April showers. And while it did rain a bit on this couple's big day, you wouldn't know it from these gorgeous photos. The bridesmaids' mix-and-match blue dresses also brought a nice pop of color to the ceremony that was carried through in the linens for the reception.
Alexa Kay Events was in charge of taking all of their wildest dreams and turning them into a reality, and they did just that! They knew just who to call for these over-the-top organic arrangements. Jesse Floreal created an asymmetrical arch for the ceremony and did Ikebana arrangements for the tabletop decor for the reception. Jennefer Wilson did an amazing job capturing all of the vibrant colors from this wedding and Fifteen Weddings was there to get every special moment on video. Evan pursued Mackenzie for YEARS until one day, she woke up and realized that her "friend" was, in fact, the love of her life. This day was a much-deserved celebration for two incredible people who love with all they have. Surrounded by 120 of their closest friends and family on a rainy spring day at The Hillside Estate, Mackenzie and Evan said, "I do!". Inspired by Mackenzie's love for "funky things," florist Jesse Floreal made all of her dreams come true with his modern, clean, and colorful designs. She encouraged him to push boundaries, and the final product was nothing short of the fun and modern vibe the couple wanted for their day. Ikebana arrangements sat atop the tables like individual pieces of art. It was precisely the design touch needed to impact the aesthetic without making a huge dent in the budget. Alexa Kay met all of the incredible florals with impeccable design guidance and, was able to make a huge impact.
Lyons Paperie set the tone with a stunning invitation suite that introduced the palette for the guests at the beginning and would be carried all the way through to the cake. The cake by Cakes By Tayte mimicked the colors of the florals and featured brushstrokes, a nod to the paper goods. Mackenzie was breathtaking in her Pronovias gown with her best girls in shades of blue from Shop Revelry. Hair And Makeup By Michaela got the girls prepped to perfection and they danced the night away together, celebrating one of the most beautiful and sincere loves we will ever witness.
