Our first wedding of the year in Rome was graced by the typical weather of the Eternal City in this season – a warm day with an impressive sky and the sun that shines fantastically despite of some clouds.
Among the stars of this day was a genuine 1960s Fiat 500 that carried bride and groom between the hotel, church and venue.
The ceremony was in one of the most beautiful basilicas of Rome, SS. Giovanni e Paolo al Celio, on the eponymous hill and next to the wonderful park of Villa Celimontana. Via a short walk you can reach the Colosseum, the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, and the Circus Maximus.
The dinner and party took place at Villa Miani, of which I have already written in a previous post.
The dinner was enlivened by a talented tenor who sang the most traditional Italian songs and arias.
Here are other photos of this very busy and successful day!
