When your venue is this pretty, you don't need to add much to make it shine. Our next bride opted out of a traditional color scheme in favor of muted neutral tones, greenery, and minimal decor to highlight the venue, Chateau De Robernier's natural beauty.
But our favorite detail, of course, was her show-stopping dress! The bride looked as though she was walking on a cloud in her gorgeous Pallas Couture wedding gown with endless layers of soft tulle. So, so pretty! Read more about the day below from the bride herself, and find every last photo in the full gallery from Claire Morris Photography.
From the bride: I had been pinning pictures on Pinterest for longer than I had known Alex. I am that girl that always dreamt of her wedding day. It was important to me that the styling was complimentary to the venue, that it was elegant and personalized. I was adamant there was no colour scheme, it was a neutral colour scheme but playing to our surroundings of olive groves and lavender.
For our venue, it had to be France. Alex is half French and his family are from Grenoble, some of his most treasured memories from his youth are in France. I had always wanted to get married in France, so it was lucky I happened to fall in love with a French man :) It is also a wonderful way to honour his late mum and her memory since she was the French half. The château itself we chose before we even visited and without question, it was the one.
For our vendors, we only wanted the best and the ones that truly celebrated the sanctimony of marriage and that we connected with. We knew that and it took a lot of Instagram scrolling and research rabbit holes to truly decipher the top in the industry and we found them! We also knew they would be an extension of our wedding so we needed to connect with them, be able to have fun with them, for them to feel part of the family, we called them our wedding squad.
