From Jen Rodriguez Photography: A love story prefaced with a proposal overlooking the sunrise from a rooftop in Tulum, Mexico was set up for nothing less than romantic bliss. Having previously worked at Tiny Prints, the bride herself intricately designed their wedding invitation suite. Rose gold, blush pink, and beige accented all details throughout the wedding day from the groom’s lapel to candlesticks on the tables, to the glamorous guest photo opp backdrop. Followed by an emotional first look, Mae and Jan were married in beautiful Murrieta’s Well, a scenic winery from the 1900s in Livermore, California.
Garnished with a gorgeous arch of greenery at the altar, Mae and Jan incorporated a veil & cord ritual into their wedding ceremony to honor their Filipino roots, a touching experience for all present. An interactive guestbook invited guests to snap Polaroid photos and sign with a note. Posted on a rustic wooden frame amidst aged wire to commemorate the day, what better way to recall their day of love?
On one of September’s hottest days, newlyweds and guests left nothing behind on the dance floor. The night was sealed with coffee and donuts since that is how Mae and Jan go together. Guests walked away, coffee in hand, with personalized “The Perfect Blend” cup sleeves and stoppers. Next up for Mae and Jan? Bali, Indonesia. The adventure begins, indeed, as the polaroid pictures stated.
