A Royal Blue and Gold Vintage Wedding in Thailand

Robin and Darrel’s destination wedding in Phuket, Thailand was a total dream come true! They chose a traditional Thai venue, Villa Bann Chang, to host their not-so-traditional vintage inspired wedding in rich hues of royal blue and gold.

Cool vintage theme

From Wedding Boutique Phuket: Despite the very tropical and traditional Thai venue they selected, a private villa named Bann Chang Thai (means house of Elephants in Thai) they wanted a vintage wedding inspiration. Royal blue and gold colors, reminding them of the Chicago evening skyline view from the planetarium they got engaged at. The bride looked sophisticated in her handmade wedding dress inspired by the 40s, while the groom looked distinguished in his electric blue suit in shorts. This is definitely a COOL couple!

Royal blue and gold

Royal Blue color - explains Ilaire, the Wedding Planner from Wedding Boutique Phuket – is not easy to incorporate in a tropical Thai traditional venue like this Villa, but we took the challenge and enjoyed the creation of this unique theme. We used the blue as a frame color for accessories and details, with hints of gold in all the vintage pieces and a lush white, and tropical greens floral arrangement.

The perfect day

From the bride: I felt great, everything was absolutely perfect, I could not have wished for a better day. When I walked down the altar to my future husband, I knew in my mind, soul, and heart that I was ready to spend the rest of my life with this wonderful person.
