A Romantic Family Vineyard Wedding in the Heart of Napa Valley

When your family home just so happens to be on a beautiful vineyard in Napa Valley, California, there is just no better place to say "I do”, which is exactly how Leah and Andrew celebrated their forever.

The brides family home was the perfect location for their laid-back, but ultra-romantic day in muted green tones. One of our favorite details? The reception! Saying "I do" at the family home

From Gipe Photography: It’s always so special when someone chooses to get married at the house they grew up in. Being surrounded by family photos, familiar landscapes, and being able to get ready in the very room you spent most of your life getting ready in are a few of the perks. Although Andrew and Leah currently live in Orange County, they wanted to exchange their lifelong vows at Leah’s family home in Calistoga, Ca on a 6-acre plot of land in the heart of Napa Valley.

Between two vineyards

The wedding was exactly what you would expect: intimate, comfortable, familial and genuine. Once they finished getting ready and had a low-key first look, Andrew and Leah’s ceremony took place out by a gorgeous pool overlooking miles and miles of vineyards. It was in between two of these vineyards they set up a long table to serve dinner to their friends and family after the ceremony. Food was passed around and wine was poured, and as the sun faded behind the surrounding hills speeches were made that testified of Andrew and Leah’s committed love for each other.

The night ended back by the pool where everyone danced under the stars, some getting so caught up in the magic of it all they jumped into the pool and continued the dance party in there. Andrew and Leah are some of the kindest, sweetest and easiest to photograph people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We were honored to be with them their entire wedding day and to give them something they can cherish for a lifetime. Congrats again Andrew & Leah!
