A Pink Sparkly Disco Party Wedding In The Heart Of Texas
Their original wedding was set in Japan, but when COVID had other plans, they weren't ready to give up their dream pink disco wedding. And for the disco part...the bride donned an adorable metallic pink minidress while the DJ played hit after hit and kept everyone on the dance floor.
Boxwood Hospitality worked hand-in-hand with this couple and helped them make the last- switch from Japan to Texas. How lucky were they to score The Cliff House, an adorable little white chapel, for their venue? These florals by Billie Ball & Co. beautifully combine the Eastern and Western elements that the couple wanted in their wedding. BRINGING THEIR VISION BACK HOME
Sarahbeth and Nick originally planned a wedding in Japan pre-Covid, but celebrated with their family and friends in Dallas, TX instead. Their wedding day was full of extraordinary details inspired by their Japanese vision and Sarahbeth's love for all things and shades of pink. The day started with getting ready at their downtown Dallas hotel. Anna Sullivan Hair created a romantic half-up hairstyle for Sarahbeth that went perfectly with her Jenny Yoo gown. Nick's tuxedo from The Black Tux provided a polished groom's look.
Pink DISCO PARTY
Their "Disco Party," as Sarahbeth and Nick like to call it, took place at The Cliff House which was originally established in the 1930s and is the perfect and intimate little white chapel. The venue was a blank slate and the perfect complement to their vision! The organic florals from Billie Ball & Co. were packed with texture and all shades of pink. The Cliff House was filled with orchids, roses, dried florals, paper fans, and everything in between. The decor and rentals for the day were provided by The Styled Affair and Vim + Venture, who both perfectly executed Sarahbeth's vision with their installs. On The Times Photography captured everything flawlessly, and the couple's portraits were sun-soaked and stunning with a city feel.
A BOBA SURPRISE
After the delicious meal from Boxwood Catering, including everything from prime rib to shrimp and grits, Sarahbeth and Nick cut into their custom wedding cakes from Sugar Bee Sweets. The bride's cake was white and adorned with pink florals and a gold topper with their new last name, while the groom's cake was an ode to Star Wars with R2D2 dressed in a tux. A boba truck, Bobaddiction, was parked outside The Cliff House as an additional treat for guests to enjoy. Sarahbeth and Nick danced the night away to a pop playlist courtesy of DJ Rod Baker from DFW Parties before Sarahbeth changed into her iconic pink getaway dress. It was truly such a perfect day from start to finish!
