If you’re dreaming of a minimal wedding packed with style, you’ve come to the right feature! The historic Callanwolde Estate was the location of Jessica and Chandler’s wedding, and they enhanced the venues art deco aesthetic with romantic lighting and garden blooms.
It’s one part modern, one part chic and totally stylish from start to finish. From the modern black bridesmaid dresses to the bright greenery, this wedding sets the bar for minimal style. Catch all the classic details below from The Tinsley Co and in the full gallery.
From The Tinsley Co: As with most historic properties in Atlanta, the Callanwolde Estate is another remnant of the Coca-Cola fortune. Placed on the National Historic Registry, this venue has so many special details that you really don't see much anymore. You can find hints of Art Deco scattered throughout the mansion. Jessica and Chandler kept up the old glam with velvet jackets, fur and a geometric alter. Their story is one that weaved in and out of its own history until they were brought together again.
The decor was clean and simple with whites, blacks, and greenery. It was easy to keep the decorating to a minimum and let the venue details and architecture speak for itself. Oh, and Chandler built his very own 'neon love wall' for a photo booth backdrop.
A favorite memory of the evening and a crowd favorite was the popcorn machine. A little late night snack never hurt nobody. Another was Jessica's dad surprising her by singing Butterfly Kisses to her before their first dance. I loved how giggly these two were all day. You never really caught them without a smile on their face. The evening was equal parts vintage and equal parts modern. The perfect blend.
