When Natasha and Adam started their wedding planning journey, they wanted to design their wedding around their two favorite things: their shared love for nature and NYC. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden proved to be the perfect solution that's just a cab ride from the hustle and bustle of the city.
It was a gorgeous location for their romance garden party wedding, and we’re in awe over their reception in the historic Palm House! So, so pretty! View all the highlights from their wedding below, and as always grab a closer look in the full gallery from Tree of Life Films & Photography.
From the bride: Our dream wedding was to be surrounded by nature. We wanted the environment to be our centerpieces. But our love story is a New York love story and we wanted a wedding that embraced both our love of nature and our love of NYC. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden was the perfect solution. A cab ride away and you feel like you are miles from the city. Our wedding theme was Romantic Garden Party - our flowers and candles were both minimalistic in order to enhance the romance of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The natural greens and soft blue color palette of our flowers complimented the bridal party's watercolor dresses, the program & menu, and all of our signage.
We created our place cards by using craft paper & twine from Paper Source. There are a lot of font download options on the internet, we found a fun typewriter font that went with our theme. We ordered tiny galvanized pails from amazon and coordinated with our florist at Stems Brooklyn to turn our place cards into succulents that our guests could take home and cherish.
For brides planning their wedding now, know what your wedding style is and stick to it. Ask yourself if something fits into your wedding theme prior to making any purchases.
