How to describe Dimitra and Jordan's wedding day? With heartfelt wedding gifts from the bride to her bridesmaids and groom, and a beautiful venue filled with spring flowers, the one word that springs to mind for this lovely day is, sweet. This whole day was soft and sweet and we just wish we could have taken part in such a beautifully relaxing event.

Dimitra and Jordan have been together for more than eight years; so it’s no surprise that every detail of their Descanso Gardens wedding was thoughtful, not to mention absolutely gorgeous with the rose garden in full bloom! Jordan’s epic proposal to Dimitra at the Santa Monica ice skating rink was featured on How He Asked, so the bar for a breathtaking wedding was already set high!
The couple got ready at the Langham Huntington hotel in Pasadena. Dimitra gifted her girl's white silk robes with their names embroidered on the back. For her something borrowed, she wore Jordan’s mom’s hair clips...which she had worn on her own wedding day to Jordan’s father!
Jordan got ready just across the way from the suite where Dimitra and the girls were. His custom 3-piece suit from Suit Supply was the perfect shade of blue for a garden wedding. One of the gifts Dimitra gave to Jordan on their wedding day was a handkerchief embroidered with the signatures of her late father and Jordan’s late grandfather; a touching way to remember them on such a special day.
After a first look in the rose garden, we headed to the Oak Lawn for their ceremony. Jordan built the chuppah that they stood under. Gorgeous flowers from Milieu Florals added the finishing touch! Dimitra walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with her older sister Nicolette, who she is very close to. The ceremony beautifully tied together Greek and Jewish traditions with stefana ( Greek crowns), which were passed down from Dimitra’s grandmother, and the stomping of the glass to bring in Jordan’s Jewish heritage.
Guests headed to cocktail hour in the rose garden, where lawn games entertained, and a guitar served as their guestbook. Music means a lot to these two, and Jordan has been learning to play guitar since they got engaged. Just before the dancing began, Dimitra slipped into a second outfit, and we snuck in a few more photos just before sundown.
