It was a gorgeous sunny day in Las Vegas for this shades of white wedding at the Historic Fifth Street School and it didn’t take much to transform their venue into the wedding of their dreams! Their laid back day featured a natural, romantic vibe with white roses, green garlands, a LOVE marquee sign and bistro lighting throughout.
Romance was the in the air and we’re feeling all the love these two share in their beautiful photos from Chelsea Nicole Photography. Keep scrolling for more and grab a closer look in the full gallery here. Enjoy!
From the bride: As far as wedding day inspirations- Bobby and I are laid back, and easygoing. We wanted our wedding day to convey that, but still be beautiful and inviting. We loved the adorable, open, outdoorsy feel of the Historical Fifth Street School. It was a very pretty venue in itself, so we wouldn’t need to go overboard with decorations. I wanted a simple, natural, and romantic feel so we used dark wooden tables with runners of greenery and flowers in shades of white.
Our florist did an exceptional job bringing my vision to life. To continue with the laid back feel, we opted for lawn games during cocktail hour, amazing BBQ for dinner, and cute little mini pies for dessert! We also added bistro lighting, and marquee letters spelling LOVE. Both of those helped set the mood for the romantic feel we was going for. One of my favorite small details of the wedding was our “doggie bags”, which were for guests to take home mini pies. Our two dogs are our “fur-babies", so we needed to make sure they were included in the wedding.
Get a planner! I used a partial planner because I had ideas and vendors in mind already. But to have her to check in from time to time and be there the day of made everything run seamlessly! Have a backup! My heels were very tall, and had jewels on the back. The week of the wedding I bought a backup pair of wedding shoes just in case the ones I had weren't comfortable. Turns out, As I was walking to our first look, the jewels on the heels were getting stuck in the tulle under my dress. I'm glad I noticed that before I walked down the isle and was able to switch to my backup pair!
