Greece is always an amazing destination to tie the knot and one of the first choices couples from all over the world consider of getting married to. Greece is famous for the great climate and weather, for the greenery and the beauty of the islands but mostly, famous for her civilisation and history.
This destination wedding was a random choice of the couple as George, our handsome groom and beloved soulmate of Elena, was born and raised in Greece and specifically in Athens, but he left to study in London and the worldwide famous ‘London School of Economics’. In UK he met and instantly fell in L O V E with the beautiful goddess Elena. Elena is a very creative person and well known in the industry of fashion. Working for years in the field, she now loves spending time with her beloved husband and travelling across the globe for her work.
Our beloved couple wanted to share the famous sea view of Greece with its beloved 100 guests so they picked Island Art & Taste, the famous reception venue on the coastal side of the Athens Riviera. Perfectly fulled in blooms, roses and epic installations from Studio 7, Ineventive Creative Experience and Maria Maroulidou, the owner, was there to truly bring their dreams into reality, from start to finish. Maria Maroulidou, known for her successfully styed weddings all over Greece, did an amazing job with the wedding styling and design, the beautiful florals arches upon the tables with all the golden ‘dove’ details.
The bridal fashion was an eclectic mix of a magnificent crisp white Dolce & Gabanna gown combined again with Gabbana’s high heels. What could make the look even better? Fine jewellery and diamond creations by her beloved Tiffany & Co and a wedding from Cartier every bride-to-be would be jealous of. The groom’s attire was tailor crafted in an old tailor’s atelier in London, UK and the shoes he walked in were Carlo Pignatelli’s. His dynamic and confident look was completed with Longines’ latest creation.
What could not stay unmentioned, as all the guest were amazed, was our caterer. The amazing team of ‘ Dipnosofistirion Catering' created amazing greek dishes, as our theme was Greece. You could find in all table set some olive tree branches which is a symbol of Greece, a ‘dove’ which is a symbol of liberty and it is also the symbol of Greek goddess, Athena.
After the cocktail and food, the party vibes are always on. ‘Loud and Clear' did an amazing job as their so groovy DJ program did not leave anyone sitting. Me and Dimitris Haidis, the filmmaker, had an easy job to do as the PARTY was literally ‘ON FIRE’.
