Meet Steve and Evelyn. We at CZ Events fell in love with them and their vision from the moment we met them! It was so fun to assist them with their planning. Their wedding took place at MOLAA, Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California. The colorful buildings and garden exhibits were a perfect backdrop for this fantastic wedding! Evelyn chose a color scheme of grey, yellow, and red and wound that into the fashion and fabulous look of the decor. The bridesmaids wore a range of grey dresses that were tied together by the same fantastic yellow shoes. The bride's red shoes and tea-length dress were the hit of the day and red flowers for everyone tied their look together. Very fashion forward and photographically perfect! For the ceremony and reception, Evelyn interwove yellow and red for a very cool contrast.
Steal this idea: instead of donning blah blah footwear for your wedding, why not try colors that match your color scheme?! Fun and bold colored-shoes are fresh and modern. Gone are the days of dyed to match and silver or gold stappies for the ladies. Colorful peep-toes are of the moment now! And for the guys? Bright Converse have been a hit in 2011. Go for shoes that match the personality of the groom and don't be afraid to have fun!
Another fashion trend in weddings is well-suited groomsmen. These guys look fantastic with their grey suits, yellow ties, yellow and red bout's, and grey Converse shoes. Steve's lighter grey suit and red tie and shoelaces are a perfect contrast and to the groomsmen and a perfect pare with the bride.
