When you choose a beautiful location like Lake Tahoe for your wedding day it needs little to no sprucing up. Our next real-life couple tied-the-knot outside under majestic lodgepole pines with a gorgeous floral arch as their backdrop. Their lovely reception brought the same stunning exterior inside with rustic wooden chairs and floating floral chandeliers.

Lake Tahoe brings back memories of fun in the sun and a home away from home for the bride, Samantha. Growing up and visiting their family vacation home, she felt like it was her own personal oasis. She loved it so much that when Nate proposed to her, she couldn't help but think a Tahoe waterfront wedding seemed like a great fit as their wedding destination. The Hyatt Regency at Incline Village quickly became their perfect venue location because the property is only blocks away from their family vacation home!
When I think of fall weddings in Lake Tahoe I think of blue waters, a chill in the air and some of the most gorgeous natural colors. We wanted to incorporate some of the natural elements into the overall wedding design while still incorporating a small nod to Lake Tahoe's slogan: "Keep Tahoe Blue." With that came a cool color palette that consisted of light grey, creams, neutrals, and greenery with pops of burgundy, blue and mauve with copper elements.
After saying "I do" under the tall pines and with the view of the lake, Sami and Nates friends and families enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn to get the celebrations started! As the guests entered the reception space, they were greeted with a gorgeous ceiling display of florals. Guests sat down to a tabletop complete with floral arrangements full of garden roses, ranunculus and foliage from B&B Designs. Each place setting included a wood printed menu and a kiss of rose gold in the flatware. The same leather ribbon that we used in the invitation suite was used to delicately tie around each guest's napkin. One of my favorite tabletop elements were the table numbers. We sourced wood planks from an Etsy artist, OuterBanksTreasure, and hammered copper nails into the wood plank to hold the hand-torn table number print by She Paperie. The collaborative effort really made the end product that much more beautiful!
An outdoor lounge overlooking the lake was complete with fire pits & smores to end the evening.
