The b-e-a-utiful Tubac Golf Resort and Spa in Arizona had been this brides dream wedding location since she was 17, so it only made sense for her and her groom to plan their biggest day ever right there. The giant wood door was a gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony, but wait till you see their stylish reception complete with margaritas and friendly beer burro.
The white and gold color palette was tied together with loads of beautiful greenery throughout and a hint of rustic charm. We can’t lie, we love the classic elegance of this wedding, so you better visit the full gallery for more candid moments from Rachel Solomon photography.
From the bride: I had my wedding venue picked out when I was about 17. I remember the first time I went to Tubac Golf Resort I knew that was the place I was going to get married someday. It also ended up being the place that Clint and I went on our first date, and where he proposed to me! So Tubac has always had a special place in our heart. It was only fitting that we get hitched at our oasis down south.
Clint and I wanted a very traditional classic wedding with Mexican flare. I worked with Shannon with Sassy Soirees to create a classic white, gold, and greenery décor theme that worked to complement the stunning rustic but elegant Tubac Chapel door--the backdrop for our ceremony. Buckeye Faith & Flowers created the most beautiful floral designs. We had a very full dramatic floral arch from the ground up to mimic the shape of the door as well as the same floral shaping the aisle, along with our lush bouquets and centerpieces. It was stunning.
The cocktail hour carried out the Mexican theme with the Wedding Beer Burro and a 7-piece Mariachi Band. Tubac Golf Resort created the most delicious cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and dinner menu. Our signature drinks included Tubac’s Classic Margarita and a Blood Orange Chili Margarita. For Dinner we chose a duet plate entrée with Herb Crusted Sea Bass and Prime Filet of Beef with Roasted Green Chili & Corn Risotto, Oven Dried Tomatoes, and Sautéed Greens.
Our wedding would not have been what it was without the amazing support of our families and friends, and our amazing team of vendors especially our wedding planners Shannon Smith and Robin, our Day of Coordinator with Sassy Soirees, and Rachel Solomon for beautifully capturing our day, Tubac Golf Resort and Spa, videographers Simply Cinema, Lauren Kerr and Cindy Butler of Buckeye Faith and Flowers, Created Beauty Co, Mohawks and Messy Buns, Wedding Burro, Sweet Creations, and Mike at Event Centrale. We were so blessed by this amazing group of people who worked seamlessly together. Because of their collaboration and flawless execution of our creative details, we were able to enjoy all the joyous moments of our gorgeous day.
