As a bay area girl at heart, our next bride wanted to incorporate her love for the city into her classic and totally elegant wedding that's straight out of a fairytale! Except instead of a coach and fairy godmother, they had a pretzel stand and a trolley!
Their grand reception at the Bentley Reserve really made our jaws hit the floor in blush, ivory, and gold. And just wait till you see all the roses! Classy and elegant from beginning to end, Adriana Klas captured their day beautifully, so be sure to catch it all below and in the full gallery.
From the planner, Riley Loves Lulu: Jenny is a Bay Area girl living in New York, so we loved incorporating classic bay area touches throughout their wedding. Our favorite design element was the incredible floral installation along the stairs at Bently. Because the stairs are such a focal point in the room, and where the couple made their grand entrance from we feel this was a great way to showcase the talents of Vo Floral Design.
Another favorite element of the day was the pretzel stand following the ceremony. Because it was a long church ceremony we offered homemade soft pretzels from local Squabisch to guests as they mingled and loaded onto shuttles. This was also a cute opportunity to make a pun on "tying the knot".
In terms of design, I love very simple, classic styles. I typically like muted, neutral colors (gray is my favorite color! and the bridesmaid dress color) and wanted to carry that theme in an elegant way throughout the wedding. I also loved incorporating classic SF architectural details in the signage and paper materials -- I felt like our wedding was very classic, quintessential San Francisco with the Fairmont, Saints Peter & Paul Church, and The Bently Reserve.
