When this bride envisioned her day, she imagined an elegant celebration surrounded by all their favorite people, and that’s exactly what Megan and Thomas got. Their classic black tie wedding looked chic in blush and ivory, beautiful florals and candlelit tables.
They added in lots of personal details to make their day even more meaningful, including destination themed tables of their travels, fresh New York bagels as a late night snack, and the musical talents of their nearest and dearest. From the Bride: We wanted something unique that no one had done before. The color palette came to Meg when she saw Jenny Yoo's dresses on instagram. The bridesmaid dresses spoke to her; they were romantic, classy, and unique for every bridesmaid. Having both the blush and light floral mixed with ivory, was stunning. The ladies loved the dresses.
Our favorite moment...was the entire day! We would love to relive the day exactly how it was, no changes. But in all honesty, the best part of the day was during our ceremony, looking out to the congregation and realizing all these amazing people were here to celebrate the two of us.
We tried to add unique elements throughout our wedding. Since Tom was living in New York when we met, New York bagels were a special routine when I was in town visiting. We had fresh NYC bagels shipped to Milwaukee the morning of our wedding for our late night snack. Also, Megan's best friends designed all the table names, we named our tables for special places we traveled while dating long distance. We both grew up in musical households and wanted to highlight music throughout the day. Our processional was the same song Tom's parents walked into and our recessional was the same song Megan's parents walked out to.
