McKenna and Michael had a lovely wedding at Middleton Place. The ceremony was held in the Octagonal Garden and it was so special incorporating family friends performing tasks from officiating the ceremony to performing readings. After the ceremony, the brass quartet played music while guests headed over to the Butterfly Lakes for cocktail hour. There they enjoyed the bride and groom’s favorite drinks, Aperol spritz and cucumber margaritas, and oysters for a fun-filled cocktail hour congratulating the bride and groom.
The reception was then held at the pavilion at Middleton Place which offered both a fun indoor and outdoor space for guests to enjoy the station-style dinner. The pavilion was filled with vibrant colors from the floral chandelier featuring coral charmed peonies to the blue + white china and the fluffy pink cotton candy provided by Pure Fluff.
After dinner, the bride’s father gave such a sweet toast followed by the cutting of a beautiful tiered cake which was decorated with peacocks that were included in the bride’s crest. The rest of the night was a huge party filled with dancing to the live band and vibrant conversations underneath the twinkling lights.
