From Thanos Asfis Photography:Nafplion, the former capital of Greece, is a city crowned by two mountains and medieval fortresses overlooking the town and the small island fortress called the Bourtzi that once protected the harbor. This couple fell in love with its beauty and decided to have their wedding here.

The ceremony took place at 1pm in St. Nicholas church and apart from the beautiful decoration we prepared a small lemonade stand to freshen up their guests. You must see the inside of the church here, and the ceremony.

Afterwards, guests were invited to Fougaro – an art and cultural place - for a noon feast. They had bellinis for a welcome drink and had the opportunity to take some unique photos at the diy photobooth. Customized tattoos with the wedding’s date and “love is…” slogan were prepared for our guests.

steal worthy idea

collect used cans and spray paint them copper, place green floral foam in the can, add colorful florals and you have an easy yet fetching wedding centerpieces.

The tent was ornamented with big flower wreaths and big red peonies. Custom signs on the bar and outside and a tarts & fruits dessert table revealed the whole rustic yet elegant feeling we wanted to give to this fresh and colorful wedding. The Bride also took care of her friends by giving out pairs of comfortable ballerinas and all details were closely attended.
