The unrelenting beauty of Zion National Park was the inspiration behind Chloe and Will’s adventurous elopement at Under Canvas Zion - the ultimate glamping experience just outside the park boundary in Utah. Talk about a romantic adventure!
They were blessed with a mix of sunshine and stormy skies, which made their photos by Kylie Morgan Photography absolutely breathtaking. The bride looked beyond amazing in her gorgeous dress + lace cape, and we’d be amiss to not mention her gorgeous desert blooms! See the highlights below, and find more photos in the full gallery.
Chloe and Will came all the way from the East Coast to elope in a place that took their breath away every time they looked at it. Getting married in Zion National Park, just the two of them, was the beginning to a few week long road trip for them around the Southern National Parks. Pretty epic pit-stop to wed if you ask me.
Chloe, Will and I met up the evening before their elopement day to hike + explore some of the park, which was the beginning of the crazy weekend storm. The morning of their wedding was clear skies, bright sun, and stunning views at Under Canvas Zion where they got ready + prepared their vows. (also can we take a second to just drool over her dress?!) Right as we were about to leave for their first look, the storm rolled back in and a TORRENTIAL downpour started. We waited until the clouds broke, giving us once again clear skies for their beautiful intimate ceremony (planning by Forevermore Events-- who is incredible!) on the outskirts of the Park, where after we ran around through fields + red rocks until the sun went down celebrating the new life they started together.
As we were wrapping up the stormy clouds rolled back in and gave us the most epic scenery I've ever witnessed at Zion. There's nothing quite like rugged desert storms. That's the beautiful thing about elopements-- you go with the flow, with your person, embracing every ounce of bad weather you get and it doesn't really matter. These two embraced it whole-heartedly and it added to the memories of the day!
