We love a backyard wedding! And its fabulously bohemian style has us even more in love with this Malibu wedding day! With flowers draped everywhere and an outdoor reception space that seated all 150 of their guests, Katy and Pual's wedding truly was a Midsummer dream!
There is plenty to see below but we also highly recommend stopping by the full gallery; there you 'll find all the photos taken by the talented Wanderlust Creatives.
Katy and Paul were married at the bride's family home in Malibu on August 18th, 2018 with 150 of their closest friends and family. The property was transformed into a mid-summer garden party dream, with a palette focused on peaches, indigo, rose gold and pops of pinks and crimson.
To incorporate the groom's Russian heritage, escort cards were hand calligraphed leather tags inside individual cognac glasses for each guest, and a pickled herring was served during dinner.
The ceremony was focused on feminist values and inclusion, and featured the couple surprising guests with a new last name, and the bride breaking the glass in addition to the groom. A Motown band kept guests dancing all night, and at the bride's request, only a sparkling rosé was served during toast time!
