We'd describe this wedding design as "elegant and timeless garden." I wanted to bring a soft, romantic feeling to Rancho Las Lomas with a canopy of ethereal twinkle lights, lots of delicate greenery, and a blush and cream color palette.
Maggie and Jon were high school sweethearts who are extremely close with their families, so we wanted the day to be focused on honoring their family and keep it filled with beautiful toasts from different family members. When it came to planning and designing this day, Maggie is so easy going - she just wanted it to be intimate and beautiful! Since we planned her older sister Amy's wedding, she trusted us to run with the design and surprise her!
I wanted the design to be classic, as that is how I see Maggie's style. Not fussy or over the top, just elegant and classy! A classic and timeless color palette and garden blooms were the perfect key points for this design. I really wanted the "wow" to be an entire canopy "ceiling" of twinkle lights. I wanted it to feel like guests were dining under the stars!
