A Chic Summer Soire
Sammi & Bobby hosted the perfect end of summer soiree that welcomed fall with a warm color palette and complementary decor. Sammi had a vision for exactly how she wanted the day to come together. The guest experiences were very important to the couple - they wanted to keep guests engaged throughout the evening. They had several fun installations and features that kept guest flowing throughout the evening.
Guests were welcomed with pre-ceremony cocktails at the Penny Bar where they had the opportunity to feed Stanley (the giraffe). After the ceremony, which featured a custom Sofreh, assembled by the groom's mother, guests were whisked to cocktail hour! Cocktail hour featured custom bites, specialty cocktails, and custom lounge nooks for guests to tuck away! On the way to the reception, guests were able to locate their seat on the oversized seating chart and grab a drink a the statement double bar! The reception twinkled under the drop lights where guests dined and celebrated late into the evening!
Malibu Dreamin'
Sammi & Bobby celebrated their wedding with the perfect end of summer soiree at Saddlerock Ranch. They invited their closest friends and family to partake in a magical evening where special touches of their relationship and culture were infused. The couple worked closely with HoneyFitz Events to bring their wedding vision to life. The guest experience was very important to them and they wanted guests to really enjoy the different moments throughout the evening! Guests were greeted by The Penny Bar, which featured pre-ceremony champagne and Sekanjabin, a traditional Persian beverage.
Sammi searched for a dress that felt natural in the venue but still had a very delicate and romantic vibe. She stunned in The Joni Dress by Rime Arodaky and accented it with a truly remarkable bouquet crafted by Shindig Chic. The Malibu mountains provided the perfect backdrop for the Ceremony, which included a circular arch framing the Sofreh. Bobby’s mom personally designed and installed the Sofreh, honoring the Persian ceremony traditions. Guests were treated to a very special ceremony highlighting key elements from both cultures.

Guests enjoyed a fabulous cocktail hour featuring custom cocktails designed by the Bride & Groom. The bride’s cocktail was the Prickly Pear [Tequila, Prickly Pear Syrup, Fresh Lime & Lemon Juice and topped with Black Salt. The groom’s cocktail was an Old Fashioned with a twist of Rose [Rabbit Hole Whiskey, Angostura Bitters and Rose Simple Syrup]. The cocktail hour featured an impressive double bar, custom lounge vignettes and of course, Stanley the Giraffe. Guests were even able to offer Stanley a bit of lettuce to munch on!
Twinkle Lights and Good Eats
As the sun set and evening approached, guests transitioned from cocktail hour to the reception, which was set under twinkling lights. The reception setting centered around the dancefloor and stage with a featured sweetheart vignette and long guest tables. The long tables showcased stunning florals with black table accents providing a very clean and modern aesthetic.
The dining experience was extremely important to the couple, a very full buffet featuring Persian food was available throughout the evening. The reception also featured a stunning fruit display and tea station. The cake was custom created by one of the bride’s friends, @littlelulus_cc, and was a beautiful statement piece! Guests celebrated Sammi & Bobby throughout the evening and truly enjoyed the thoughtful experience, which featured so many personal touches.
