Jennifer and Jonathan each moved to Chicago of their own accord in 2013 - but they didn't actually meet until a few years later! Their first date started with margaritas at the Mayan Palace, and when they didn't want the night to end, the couple continued with live blues at Kingston Mines. It didn't take them long to fall for each other. One day, at a friend's wedding, Jonathan joked that he would be serving pizza at his wedding. Jen teased him and said, "I hope whoever you marry loves pizza," and Jonathan's response was to smile and say, "I already know who I'm going to marry."

After learning about how much they both love to cook, travel, and try new things together, Jonathan proposed to Jennifer in beautiful Zion National Park in October of 2020. Their wedding day included a classic outdoor ceremony on the water, the most beautiful flower arrangements made up of orange-y peach tones mixed with creams and blues, and the cutest custom signage. It was these details that made their day that much more special!
