Vintage Glam: A 1920s-Inspired Wedding in North Dakota

Thanks to Pinterest, our next Bride felt incredibly inspired when she started to plan her wedding. Eventually they settled on the 1920's Great Gastby meets country chic. It blended perfectly with their outdoor ceremony and 1898 ballroom reception that was filled with milk glass, dainty doilies and a variety of dessert pedestals. All assembled by family members who scoured local antique/thrift stores and estate sales for a year and half prior to the wedding. From the bride on her style and her bridesmaids gifts:For jewelry, I collected 1920's broaches for gifts to my bridesmaids from anywhere I could spy them, and my own necklace was a Nicole Miller design from Nordstrom Bridal Boutique in Dallas, TX. I also found my first dress here; a classic mermaid Milly bridal gown with art deco detailing. My second dress was an 1950's antique given to me by my mother to wear with my rose-colored ornate shoes from Aldo. Lastly, my lovely ruby wedding/engagement ring was discovered at Royal Jewelers, Fargo, ND- intended to be an heirloom that we pass down to our future children.
