A fall inspiration shoot set at a unique venue...the Historical Priory of Aleyrac. One of our favorite things about this styled shoot is that it shows couples how a historical location can be used as a unique wedding venue. This opens up so many other venue options for couples to consider! To add to our favorites we also love how the color royal blue is used throughout this styled shoot and of course the gorgeous blush organza gown by Greek Designer Dimitra Antonea to name a few!

Stationary was customized from start to finish by creator Virginie Delecraz from Encres et Nuances, based in Marseille. Color aquarelles, and black and white gravures of the venue were used for this creative process.
The bride was wearing a dazzling blush organza gown made by Greek Designer Dimitra Antonea, MadeBride , ornamented with feathers and fine golden and silver beads. We highlighted the gown with small and delicate pieces of jewelry selected from the Swarovski 2022 collection.
A soft and luminous makeup was chosen to highlight the features of our beautiful bride, as well as a sleek long bob hairstyle to highlight the detailed craft and preciousness of the wedding gown. Hair and Makeup was fashioned by Provence MUAH Sarah M’Barki .
I recently conducted a Fall inspiration photoshoot at the Historical Priory of Aleyrac- a unique and extraordinary venue- located in the heart of the Provençale Drome. As a wedding planner based in Provence, I wanted to honor the region, its terroir and its history, and decided to carry out this project at XIIth century open-ceiling priory also called “Our Lady of the Spring”, which is surrounded with a magnificent forest of centennial oak trees.
Because the sunlight changes drastically from a minute to the other at this location, I wanted our team to capture as much of the variating hues throughout the day and show how sun rays reflected on the old stone walls of the priory. Our team played with soft creamed tone linens for table setting and blush hues from the organza wedding dress. The whole, highlighted with touches of royal blue from Gladiolus flowers to bring some brightness and liveliness to the ancient Abbaye.
This collaborative work really demonstrate how historical sites can be used as unique wedding venues. I hope this photoshoot will inspire future couples across the world to choose “never thought of” venues, that match their personality, their love story and truly resonate with their souls.
The design and styling sought for this collaboration was to be refine and filtered. The tableware gathered vintage glasses from Saint Louis Crystal ; vintage Villeroy & Boch plate ware and silverware; and vintage Saint Louis crystal vases. Flowers decoration and venue ornaments were curated by a local florist who knew exactly how to emphasis the splendor of the venue and maintain its wild and mystical energy.

Our team additionally resorted to local mixologist and carried out custom cocktails inspired from local ingredients native to the Drome region, such as Nougat crumbs and Lavender seeds in beautifully curated Lavender Ramos and Nougat Sour!
