It may not have been her original plan but his beautifully timed wedding inspiration by Kate Preftakes Photography kick started our imaginations about what it might be like to live on the Paradise Island with Diana (Wonder Woman) and the other kickass Amazons. This old Mediterranean style venue is actually hidden away in New Hampshire and is no where near as old as it my first appear, but is sure does give us the feeling that any minute horse riding archers may come galloping around the corner.
Take a look and see what you think. Then let us know if you agree with our take on this beautiful Greco-Roman wedding inspiration in the comments below. Oh and don't forget the full gallery is right here so that you don't miss a single detail from this shoot.
From Lotus Floral Design: The inspiration for this shoot came from the Aldworth Manor, a breathtaking new (old) venue nestled in the little town of Harrisville, NH. The Greco-Roman architecture with it's stonework, columns, arches & even a bathhouse- started producing images in my mind of an old world meets new world shoot that I began cultivating into the theme of 'Grecian Boho Goddess.'
Our goddess Clare wore a custom-made crochet dress by Lauralyn Bridal Couture. The florals were lots of oversized tropical leaves & plants, rich burgundy & golds and succulents including a 'succulent' cake. Oversized aqua vases along with geometric accents provided some modern infusion & our goddess even had a seat on her 'throne'- a vintage wicker hanging basket chair. I'd like to thank the amazing team that brought the vision to life!
This shoot is complete with a super cute greek inspired flower girl that has us imagining a young Diana traipsing about an island of warrior women learning to fight is secret. This cute little flower girl is our personal favorite part of this shoot as she seems to want nothing more then to explore the venue and really could not be bothered by this wedding inspiration. See more of her in the full gallery here.
