Whimsical Brooklyn Garden Wedding
Using the indoor gardens at Acqua Santa as the canvas, Jove Meyer Events and a talented group of Brooklyn wedding vendors produced an incredibly chic indoor garden wedding. With a spectacular array of flowers, vintage furniture and an array of eclectic decor, a boho chic floral extravaganza was born.

From The Wild Ivy:For the ceremony, we used several pieces of a dried grape vine to drape over a piece of bamboo which we hung from a beam in the ceiling. We inserted little sprigs and posies throughout the vine, and used seeded eucalyptus to make it even more lush. For the reception, we had this idea to make a floral chandelier and it was very important to find blooms with the perfect texture, like baby's breath, astilbe and statice. We used mostly neutrals and whites with subtle hints of purples and pinks for a little bit of color.
I think the star of the show was definitely the aisle. Your eye is immediately drawn to bright colors of the flower petals. Since the rest of the floral elements were rather understated and refined, we decided to have a lot of fun with the aisle. We used a specific technique to create a subtle ombre. Up close, it looks like a mix of colors but from farther away, the ombre affect becomes apparent, as it goes from red to pink to yellow and cream. We used roses for the aisle petals and all of our extra flowers were used in bud vases and mason jars that were accented throughout the garden.
From Jove Meyer Events:For the Acqua Santa shoot I really wanted to embrace the space and create a design plan that enhanced the natural features they already have, keeping that in mind I foraged a number vintage of items to create a romantic wedding tablescape. From the cocktail glasses to the floral plates and flatware I made a big effort to only source gently used items to be kinder to the earth and to add authentic style to the shoot. The goal was to create a romantic, rustic wedding with a touch of Italy. Since the venue has such gorgeous ceilings filled with vines and beautiful wooden beams I wanted to bring attention to the natural beauty by adding a floral chandelier above the table. The girls of the The Wild Ivy brought the vision to life and used a beautiful selection of flowers to build it.
From The Wild Ivy:Because the shoot took place in the gorgeous indoor garden at Acqua Santa, we really wanted the flowers to be an extension of the lush greenery that was already there. We created hanging garlands and floral chandeliers so that it felt like the flowers were literally enveloping the space from top to bottom. What's unique about the space is the Mediterranean interior, rich with terra cotta and turquoise accents. It was interesting picking colors that would both stand out and compliment the already rich interior. We chose deep burgundy and gold with little hints of soft pinks and purples. We love carnations because they are inexpensive and offer a wide variety of colors and textures. We combined the carnations w
With more refined flowers like Juliet roses and mini calla lilies. For texture, we used pink and gold astilbe and astrantia. We also used burgundy amaranthus to create a sense that the flowers were literally spilling over and out of the vases.
From Jove Meyer Events:The dessert table was filled with beautiful vintage items used for different purposes than they were originally created for. A vintage jewelry box served to hold the flatware and stacked upon it was an old cigar box that was topped with a few of the delicious cake cups!
