We chose Banyan Tree Mayakoba and in specific MK Blue, this spectacular lagoon view venue because it's a white canvas. It's perfect to create your own, unique wedding. This space holds up to 600 guests but it can easily be sectioned depending the number of guests.

Typically used as a reception location with cocktails or dancing by the deck, however, this time we wanted to try a wedding ceremony set up there. Now that micro and mini weddings have burst on the scene. My opinion is that it's best to have all or most of the wedding day events in one place. MK Blue is the perfect venue that's versatile enough to go from ceremony to cocktails, to lounging for both adults and children to dinner reception.
