This gorgeous burgundy and gold Indian wedding day inspiration is brought to you by Events by Harleen. We fell in love with this stunning event as soon as we saw the beautifully attired wedding couple. With two fabulous gold, ivory and burgundy bridal looks that perfectly accented the grooms two traditional styles as well as a sleek and classic suit, this inspiration is positively brimming with details.
You definitley don't want to miss the cocktails, the cake, or the ceremony decor so we highly recommend you keep scrolling as well as remember to take a peek in the full gallery. All photos were generously provided by Allyson Magda.
As Ranveer Singh came down to the vineyards of Paso Robles on a beautiful white horse, his bride Hina Patel was patiently waiting on the balcony. This wedding had the makings of a fairy tale, but the events leading up to it were a little more complicated. Hina was born into a Gujarati family and Ranveer a Sikh one. Although both religions originate from India, they actual differ vastly. Despite this, the couple learned early that the making of a happy married life, start with a solid foundation of understanding, respect, and compromise. A lesson that reflected through incorporating aspects of both of their religions on their special day. Hina and Ranveer are content in the knowledge that they will now walk through life as a pair, each with their mindset a little richer in knowledge due to their unique union.
The outfits were designed by Wellgroomedinc. They create custom outfits for each of their brides and grooms, whether it be a very traditional red lengha or a USA fashion, inspired off-white Saree. I really wanted light pastel colors so that the groom's accent of deep green and purple could stand out. To pair accordingly a dark purple second chunni (bride's veil) was added to complete the look. A touch of my grandmother (mother's side) was her earrings from her wedding attached to my bouquet. My personal favorite piece of the wedding came from my grandmother (father's side) because she hand embroidered the phulkari seen on the beautiful white horse. The groom's sword was from his father on his own wedding day!
