This modern chic shoot took "going green" to the next level! Recycling, eco-friendly details, and shopping local we have heard of and support whole heartedly. Although, we have to say when we saw these fresh floral dresses and head dresses our jaws it the floor. Each beautiful dress is a masterpiece we cannot get enough of and they mingle so nicely with the surrounding floral decor from the day. Seriously, you HAVE to see these!

Each image from Mercedes Morgan Photography of this beautifully styled shoot by Silver Thistle Wedding and Events and Spotlight Events Houston is a masterpiece that we could honestly just stare at forever.
It's not often that you come across something so stunningly brilliant that you are inspired to do something that goes against what you would consider logical. That's what this styled shoot was like: inspired. Put a styled shoot together in less than two weeks? Just mad. Clothing from plants and flowers? Oh my, yes. Let's do this! And we did. The entire impetus for this styled shoot is based on the botanical couture of Carol Jillian Designs. The one-of-a-kind botanical wearables inspired two looks: a lush, glamorous gold and blush setting plus a little more moderne silver setting.
The location, The Prospect House, provided a lovely contrast: a modern, blank canvas for the lush organic elements to shine against. Carol's work is truly unique in bridal wear: bespoke garments fashioned from in-season florals. What a lovely way to further emphasize that a wedding day is truly a once in a lifetime event! To back up Carol, there was an incredible, resourceful team of coordinators and designers all credited below. It was an amazing opportunity as a photographer to showcase their creative artistry and share it with brides and grooms to be!
