From Taylor Rae Photography: Stefanie and I designed this photoshoot with a boho/glam bride in mind. In Charleston, there are so many gorgeous venues to have your wedding. A lot of Charleston brides go for a pretty traditional look, but we wanted to show brides that just because you're getting married in a historic city doesn't mean traditional is the only way to go! We chose dark colors, dresses that aren't your traditional style, and a lot of metallic tones to the makeup.
From Beth at WildFlowers Inc.: For this shoot we took advantage of unseasonably mild weather to forage for as many wild elements as possible. We gathered assorted vines, greenery, berries and pods for textural diversity. We nestled some "Hearts" roses for deep lush focal points as well as a variety of favorites in rich tones. We loosely and naturally incorporated Veronica, scabiosa, astilbe, celosia, chocolate lace, and amaranths, both straight and hanging.
From Lauren at Modern Trousseau: Long sleeved gown: MUSE is our designer’s brand new label that just debuted this past October at New York Bridal Fashion Week. Roux is a French alençon lace and French net gown with delicate sleeves, plunging back and sweep train.
Blush gown: Sierra is from the Modern Trousseau Fall 2016 collection. This blush, hand embroidered European silk organza gown features a draped bodice with sweetheart neckline and full skirt with chapel train.
Two piece gown: Madden is from the Modern Trousseau Fall 2017 collection. This two piece stunner has a beautiful, sheer sequined lace bodice with full thai silk skirt and chapel train.
