Kpco Design Studio created an invitation suite that had the warmth of velvet-lined envelopes paired with the artistic and chic look of a hand-drawn silhouette of the couple. The deep red velvet vow books were tied delicately with a light blush silk to give a good contrast in colors. Combining a concept of romance within this clean and modern suite. Honest Type had clear acrylic adorned in gold foil flakes on the opposite edges, for the place cards and table number. This was then paired with a menu that had a combination of gold foil and deep red velvet running down the side.
Friar Tux provided a fitted women’s tux of pure white to match her bride. While the dress was one of Liz Martinez Bridal romantic but flirty gowns with a delicate corset top and plunging V neckline. The makeup on both our brides were meant to enhance the already unique and exotic features they had. Beauty By Kelsea created a look on Marlo that paired a lightly smokey eye with a pop of warm crimson red on the lips. Her hair was a sleek and chic ponytail with soft tendrils on each side. Whereas Kaila had a more natural look with a chic and flirty hairstyle of hair slicked back with product to give that “wet look”.
For the floral design, we wanted to feature both a grounded arch and floral columns as the focal point. Wild Darling Floral created a stunning floral design with sprigs of great burnet and butterfly ranunculus. No foliage was added in which created a minimalistic and clean modern feel.
Our spiced carrot cake with white chocolate buttercream was two sleek tiers with the top portion painted gold to add a sense of holiday cheer and modernism by Sam Samm Custom Cakes. The personal Strawberry-Apple vegan pies are from Epic Vegan LA and created for one person to ensure you don't have to share! Topped with decorative heart designs on each pie. Last but not least, the kraft cocktail created by The Bar Modern inside The Modern venue itself, delighted us with a snickerdoodle martini complete with a cinnamon stick and whip cream. This cocktail will surely provide those warm and fuzzy holiday feels!
