With a whimsical blooming floral ceremony arch, a dreamy tulle ballgown, and a Tuscan-inspired villa, there's a lot to like about this wedding inspiration shoot, but what makes it all stand out? Asymmetry baby! Being symmetrical is so overrated. Look at Mother Nature, she's all over the place, unpredictable, she's the original "Manic Pixie Dream Girl". If it's been working for her all these years, why not take a page out of her book for your wedding design? Now just because something is asymmetrical, doesn't mean it is off-balanced. In fact, it takes a lot of skill to craft something asymmetrical, like these florals or this epic tablescape. See how this team created this naturally elegant wedding look (spoiler: it takes a lot of effort to get that effortless look).
These photos by Jocelyn & Spencer are so romantic and whimsical! Sunstone Villa, a Tuscan-inspired venue in California, transports you completely to another time and place. Heather Benge Events worked closely with each of these vendors to create this joyful spring wedding inspiration. These florals by Blush Botanicals and Parker And Posies look so natural, it's almost as if they grew that way. You can see even more from this stunning shoot in the full gallery. Warm spring days in the rolling hills of the Santa Ynez valley bring about the most romantic atmosphere for a couple in love to share the vows of a lifetime. And deep within the many rows of budding vines, the Sunstone Villa, a private estate reminiscent of a Tuscan villa, was the perfect venue. Planned and designed by the talents of Heather Benge, Kendall & Miller’s spring wedding dream was brought to life.
As guests walked down the light gravel drive lined with olive trees, the couple’s ceremony space came into view with a backdrop of the villa. Parker And Posies and Blush Botanicals combined their efforts to create a ceremony aisle lined with beautiful white and yellow flowers that brought forth the sweet aroma of a fresh spring morning. In similar beauty, the altar was dressed in hanging florals matching the colors of the aisle, a beautiful view against the aged sandstone of the villa. After sharing vows, beautifully calligraphed by Oh Eleven Studio, the couple walked hand in hand down the aisle as cheers filled the air.
After tying the knot, guests found their names and table numbers from delicate pieces of paper with tassels hanging from a black stand made of wrought iron. Once collected, the intimate gathering moved into the drive lined with olive trees and rows of vineyards to find their seats. A table set with linens from Nuage Designs and rentals from Party Pleasers consisting of varying heights of long-stemmed candles, glassware, and place settings, and an abundance of florals lining the center awaited guests for an elegant dinner under the setting sun. After dinner, slices of cake were cut from the four-tiered masterpiece by Lele Patisserie and shared amongst the intimate gathering of loved ones and friends. This delectable treat was the perfect ending to a fabulous dinner.
Inspired by the femininity of love and the warm spring weather, the bride wore a stunning white gown from Styled Gown layered with tulle and a form-fitting bodice. Her look was the epitome of subtle beauty with soft and romantic makeup by Sun Kissed And Made Up and Gucci heels. Her groom wore a black three-piece suit from The Modern Groom to complete his masculine look.
The couple spent the night engaged with their loved ones, celebrating the love they share for one another and will continue to cherish for the rest of their lives. Captured by Jocelyn & Spencer, Kendall and Miller had the perfect ending to their intimate spring wedding at a Tuscan-inspired villa as the sun set on their wedding day.
