The Octagon Barn was built in 1906 and recently completed a long and loving restoration by the Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo and a strong community of volunteers - a real barn raising.
Now that the barn is complete, it is a blank slate and ready to be transformed for your wedding day. The barn is currently accepting bookings, visit here and fill out the form and they will get back to your right way.

The creative team designed a California-Esque chic, relaxed wedding day that included - a boho lounge area, refined picnic wedding reception, and an organic farm-to-table wedding feast. The Octagon Barn is 5,000 square feet. From the below photo, you can see that your guests would be in a circle format and you would say your wedding vows in the center.
San Luis Obispo, Idlewild Floral built a hanging floral installation in the center of the round barn to mark the ceremony altar to highlight the barn's expansive ceiling.

The Bride wore a Lace & Liberty wedding dress and was styled by San Luis Obispo hair and make-up artist Leah Gilbertson, of Dreamcatcher Artistry. The groom wore a beige suit from The Black Tux.

A cozy lounge was set up inside the breezeway of a new building on the property, which served as the entrance to a tucked-away courtyard used for cocktail hour. Guests could sip on the signature wedding drinks mixed up by Thomas Hill Organics, a Chamomile Gin Fizz cocktail, and an Earl Grey sidecar cocktail.
San Luis Obispo wedding stylish wedding rentals, Avenue Twelve Rentals provided all the boho-chic rental furniture- including rattan pendants that hung over luxuriously upholstered benches and wicker chairs.
Raina Toy-Smith of Fete & Quill crafted beautiful fabric menus that you can see below. She also designed the bright and happy clementine place cards for the table settings.
The California-Esque chic table was perfectly styled with china from Farmhouse Pottery and Modo drinkware from San Luis Obispo wedding rentals, Got You Covered.
An airy taupe table runner from La Tavola went beautifully with the beige gingham napkins. Idlewild Floral completed the table's overall look and feel with sepia toned centerpieces that rested in terra cotta containers.

Bone marrow foam, cashew cheese, and leek ash
Golden Beet Cake

Toasted sourdough, house-made cultured butter, and a pea tendril pesto
For dessert, Autumn Qiu of Autumn Cake Design prepared a three-tiered bright white, lemon chiffon cake with lemon curd. Be sure to take a close look at the beautiful floral illustration that was created around the cake. So pretty!
