UK wedding floral designer, Willow & Blossom created a floral-filled day in her favorite color palette - lavender and heather.
All this sweet-smelling wedding inspiration took place at Northbrook Park Surrey, a UK wedding venue. This historic grade-II-listed 18th Century manor house, surrounded by manicured gardens, is located just outside of London. An ideal wedding venue for all these lovely lavender wedding ideas.
Nikki's Moments Photo & Film photographed the day. You can see more photographs in the full gallery. Read on for more details from the entire wedding team on creating this shoot, and do not miss the wedding film.
was chosen as the setting for this styled shoot. The perfect Surrey country wedding venue: a historic grade-II listed, 18th Century manor house, surrounded by manicured gardens, and handily located just outside of London. Light and airy spaces and a stunning fireplace creating the focal point of the ceremony room.
There were two main floral elements for the shoot, a stunning floral archway full of scented lilacs that framed the extravagant cake and a huge arrangement adorning the grand fireplace.
The wedding table centerpiece was kept simple and elegant to incorporate the color scheme but to keep the focus on detailed styling.
The bridal bouquet was full of spring blooms and a lot of textured foliage to compliment the other designs. I love adding trailing silk ribbons from The Botanical Dyer to a bouquet to add extra movement and interest.

I wanted to create a natural and flawless finish to the makeup as I felt that would work well with the elegant theme of the shoot.
I kept the hair simple by adding a soft wave that worked with the beautiful accessories. I then amped it up for a slightly more editorial look - adding gloss to the eyes and slicking the hair back made it edgy but still chic and modern.
Abi – Abi Taylor Bride
With a focus on floral, I wanted the dresses to really embrace this theme. So I selected some floral gowns from the Bridal Indulgence collection that had a romantic yet modern look.
The gowns at Bridal Indulgence are perfect for the modern bride looking for something a little extra special and which worked perfectly at Northbrook Park and all the wedding decor.

I wanted to keep the table stationery as simple and elegant as possible, so as not to distract from the florals. I went for a minimal design, featuring a delicate illustrated branch and then a touch of gold calligraphy for the place cards. The subtly textured paper was hand finished with a deckle edge to add a luxury look.

The table decor is romantic with a beautiful color palette of heather, lavender and ivory. Natural textured linens soften the look with the chic gold beaded charger plates and gold cutlery which add a luxury feel.
We wanted the table decor to be refined and timeless, vintage cut glass tapered candle holders, tea lights and glasses add another dimension. The luxury linen napkins bring the flowers and the table styling altogether, tying the napkins in a knot creates a more relaxed feel.
To achieve this look Use fabrics and different textures to soften Keep the styling simple and well planned Limit the color palette to a few colors and tones of those colors.

For this cake, I took the overall inspiration from the luxurious feel of the wedding, and the grandeur and brightness of the venue. For the colours I went with soft lilac shades but kept the sugar flowers white and neutral to allow the beautiful floral arch to frame the cake. If you look closer, you’ll find that the floral lace details dotted around the cake matched the wedding dress beautifully, which is one of the things I love to do when I think of cake inspiration.
