The Venue
Chateau Villa Bork was rebuilt few years ago. However, the soul of this place remained unchanged with a 500-year-old linden tree that grows in the garden behind the castle. In front of the castle, three beautiful magnolias bloom. Villa Bork is a smaller aristocracy country residence located in the picturesque village of Borcice, Slovakia. Romantic and cosy rooms of our chateau as well as a quiet atmosphere of the park make an ideal venue for all weddings in a private setting for you and your guests. A wedding at Villa Bork can be a fairytale throughout the year. It is particularly charming and extraordinary at the time of magnolia bloom, when the chateau is embraced by flowers and passers-by are delighted by all the beauty and tenderness.
Magnolia is one of the symbols of spring and an early spring means for me a freshness and first gentle colors. The cakes and desserts were provided by Kika Cakes Bakery and Princess Cakes Therefore, I have decided to use the gentle coloring of the magnolia on the design of the cake as well. The combination of a refreshing vanilla mascarpone cream and a corpus of the same taste, underlined the strawberries inside.
