Our inspiration for this editorial was to truly incorporate beautiful Spanish architecture and style with the new modern venue renovations of Spanish Hills Country Club. Paired with stunning Camarillo views and palm trees, the versatility of the new limestone and black windows make this venue a true hidden gem in Ventura County.
From the start of the beautiful February day, our Bride Felicia was styled by the Moorpark, California bridal boutique, Ever After Bridal Boutique, in her crepe fit-and-flare Aston gown by Sottero and Midgley. The wedding dress was beyond chic with its bateau neckline and statement beaded illusion embroidery back and long sleeves. And who said you can’t have black wedding shoes? Her elegant bridal bun and deep lip color by JJana & Co. Makeup And Hair Design perfectly complemented the modern attire of the Bride and Groom, who sported a classic black tux.
The ceremony chuppah arch was the cherry on top with cascading greenery and pops of color all along the wooden frame, while the black lanterns and additional flower bundles lined the aisle. The stunning golden hour with the sun setting just below the palm trees transported us all to a “Santa Barbara” feel as the views of the Camarillo valley swept across the background.
All of the styled decor planned and designed by Jamison Events was nothing short of elegant and exquisite. From the farm-style tables, accents of gold and black, and bold and colorful florals by Primrose & Petals in every setting to the beautiful, white vintage wedding car by Distinctive Carriage at golden hour, each image captured by Jessica Woodard Photography was romantic and portrayed the couple, Felicia and Brandon, perfectly. Two of the kindest and most personable souls, Felicia and Brandon, were the stars of the event with their contagious laughter and made the atmosphere so fun for everyone.
The two-tier wedding cake by Sweet Art Bake Shop was a huge hit as well with its intricate, gold hand-painted lace design. The colorful vintage glassware, floral salad plates, and other rentals by Amigo Party Rentals all tied in the Spanish feel. The lit taper candles created a blissful ambiance that immersed throughout the country club that evening.
