As soon as you walk through the doors of Robin Hill Mansion, you are swept away to another place in time. It’s very easy to instantly become mesmerized by its elegance and charm as well as its sense of history. Or at least that’s the way that this talented team of vendors felt as soon as they stepped inside and they knew it would be the perfect location for Stylish, their first Styled Shoot Workshop.
In deciding on a theme for the workshop, they drew a lot of inspiration from the building and grounds itself and decided that “Southern Elegance” suited it perfectly. Every little detail from these Southern blue and white wedding ideas is impeccable and they can all be seen in the full gallery, photographed by Jenni Grace Photography.
From Devoted to You Events: In terms of color palette, I had a vision of a gorgeous white washed farm table adorned with luscious greenery with blue hues intertwined and also of a white washed dessert display that had rich cascading florals. And somewhere along the line, blueberries became a focal inspiration point that I knew I wanted to carry cohesively throughout. We ended up incorporating blueberries into the table design, the floral, the desserts and the stationary.
The way that Jenni captured all the details is ethereal and absolute perfection. The florals provided by Community Flower Shop created a feel of natural refinement that complimented both the dresses and the models as well as all of the vignettes. They wanted to make sure to carry a natural and organic, yet elegant and charming feel throughout every detail. The wedding invitation and all of the paper products provided by Diva Gone Domestic, featured a modern calligraphy design and each piece was hand lettered and hand water colored to make each design unique.
The cake provided by Mediterra Cakehouse was also a watercolor design that brought in the hues of blue and featured soft floral accents. The food on the table was provided by Sweet Peaches and featured a traditional southern meal of chicken, collard greens and biscuits. To pull on the historical elements as well as the southern charm, we brought in Old Souls Vintage Rentals. All of their pieces were the perfect complements and only added to the timeless elegance of the shoot.
One of my favorite pieces was the vintage vanity set up. There is something about a bride sitting in front of an actual vanity that takes my breath away and transports me to another era of time. And our gorgeous models, styled by Justine from Beauty Justified, captured that essence of not only a bride, but of southern elegance flawlessly. Jenni and I could not be happier with how all the details from this workshop came together and how all of our vendors worked as a team to bring the vision to life!
We love this stunning video, filmed by Oakwood Video, that lets you join in on all the magic of the day.
