Without further ado, here is the story told through images of how a destination Parisian elopement day would play out. The couple's day would start with a cozy morning session at their private Parisian estate. They read each other's handwritten love letters-followed by a glamorous getting ready session, and their intimately beautiful wedding ceremony. After their private ceremony, they sit together at a french cafe inspired sweetheart table and sip Champagne. The couple then enjoys a post-wedding celebratory signature cocktail. Although this is an editorial, this is a real-life couple, and they both share a mutual love for all things Parisian inspired. They are both true romantics at heart and wanted to celebrate their passion in the most intimate way possible inspired by the city they love. This real-life couple first met in Paris, so this inspirational shoot met a lot to the couple.
They started their day in bed at Private estate in Grosse Pointe Michigan and read love letters to each other in bed before getting wedding-ready.
The Bride's first look is a Parisian inspired modern wedding dress. It has a floral chapel train and statement detachable lace bow. Vibrant red Bella Belle shoes with pearls were paired with the couture dress designed by Sareh Nouri.
Lena Shkreli & Company gave the Bride a natural glow from within look with a light rosy cheek and lip paired with organic and loose front shaping waves.
The Groom wore a Midnight Blue Tuxedo with Lapel from The Black Tux paired with Oui and Non velvet loafers. These black velvet loafers are available to rent at The Black Tux for $35. We are seeing a lot of Groom's making their day even more special with playful wedding shoes.
designed an organic wedding backdrop. Free-flowing florals are used with a rich color palette of reds, classic blues, vibrant yellows, and bright whites, creating a French garden-like atmosphere indoors. Setting the scene for an intimate wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony, the couple relished in their love at a table for two inspired by a bistro table at Paris cafe. They toasted to their love and snacked on pastel Laduree Macarons as they wrote to their loved ones that they eloped.
The bride slipped into a scoop back, and neck aline gown with a belted waist and gathered pleated skirt from L'amour Bridal. The groom changed into a Parisian inspired all-black tuxedo from The Black Tux. They cut into their elopement wedding cake by For The Love of Sugar that was adorned with yellow, red, and blue wedding florals.
Traditional Parisian celebratory drinks including a Parisian Sidecar and Champagne Rose Lemonade for toasting were served to the bride and groom.
