Something Blue Micro Los Angeles Wedding
Antonio and Marlene have a very special love story. They met in passing about four years ago and then found their way back to each other a year ago and knew they would be together forever. The way Antonio looked at Marlene gave everyone the chills.

FLORALS
BruBaker Floral Co. used the following flowers to give an elegant touch to their day; Focal flowers (Anemone, Custom dyed navy & Khaki Lisianthus, Custom dyed blue Carnations, Blue Tweedia), Branches (Curly willow & Mock orange), Filler flowers (Silver thistle, Scabiosa pods, Spirea), and Greenery (Gunni eucalyptus & Oregano). Lastly, the blooms were muted shades of blue focal flowers against seasonal & enchanting blooming branches.
The use of an organic and foraged style was appropriate for this intimate celebration of love.
TABLESCAPES
The inspiration behind the tablescape is a classically romantic, but still modern in simplicity. Because the design is so simple, Abbijo Designs used as many handmade materials as possible, it adds texture and personality. In a rushed technology-driven society people really appreciate artisan handmade objects. The flowers and botanicals are real and hand pressed. The ribbon is hand-dyed silk. The paper is handmade and invitations /place cards are hand calligraphed.
SIGNATURE COCKTAILS
Keeping the theme going we went with two blueberry cocktails.
Violet Beauregard - gin, elderflower liqueur, blueberry purée, fresh lemon juice syrup and tonic water
Blueberry Mojito - light rum, mint, blueberries, fresh lime juice, sugar and soda water.
And for the best part of the end of the day, the cake and cookies! A vegan carrot cake with vanilla frosting brushed with silver shimmer with a side of personalized vanilla cookies.

Jasmine Marie Photo wanted to capture something that felt modern and intimate. Micro weddings have definitely surged in popularity recently, so she wanted to showcase how timely and beautiful this event felt.
As always, she wanted to make sure to display the couple’s love for each other and how they would enjoy their special day. When she found out the venue had rooftop access, she knew it would take the shoot to another level if we got a few photos of the surrounding buildings of the Arts District and the downtown skyline in the background.
Bridal Makeup
Makeup By Pam added a touch of something blue on her eyes, with a smooth complexion and bold eyes. Soft Smokey blue shadow was the perfect touch to clean beauty. The bride's hair had a classic, soft chignon style, relaxed, effortless, clean look. Simply reflecting the timeless enduring love shared between the bride and groom.
Wedding stylist, Jillian Nicole Events wanted to make the ceremony simple and elegant, so the florist added two mismatched vases with florals to the sides and draped a silk linen over the wall, giving it a clean and fresh look.
BRIDE AND GROOM MASKS
What’s a Micro Wedding during a Pandemic without masks? For the bridal mask, the stylist used soft and breathable materials, a cotton lining & silk with a lace top layer to give it the bridal touch. And for the groom's mask, she wanted to keep it manly and classy, so she opted for just adding a white outline at the top of the mask.
LONG SLEEVE WEDDING GOWN
Janay Marie designed the dress. Janay Marie wanted to create something sleek with clean lines, but that also had a whimsical edge to it. The soft floral sleeves gave it just the feel Marlene wanted. The style of the dress is a stretch trumpet white gown with 3D floral sleeves.
