When the opportunity to model for a styled shoot came along, Lindsey and Dustin decided to tie the knot at the same time. Never considering a traditional wedding, this was a perfect option for them.

For their real wedding, a small handful of friends came to Gateway and we had a 'microwedding' on the beautiful grounds of Gateway Canyons Resort, with friends, dogs, and horses. Lindsey is half Japanese, and also part of an Alaskan Native American Killer Whale Tribe. She had a beautiful medicine bag from Crossbow Leather with special pieces that all represent something different and meaningful. Every piece of this wedding was so detailed and connected, we were all in happy tears at different moments.

With a surprise snow storm, and temperatures dropping from the usual 70 and sunny to 20 and white, the wedding and styled shoot over two days became even more magical than envisioned. It was certainly more work for all the vendor teams, but the wonderful energy was felt by all.

Lindsey and Dustin met on New Year's Eve in Telluride, CO at the historic Steaming Bean. They kissed at midnight, and when Lindsey was walking away down Main Street, she stopped and said to herself "I think I could kiss that boy for the rest of my life."

We planned this in just a couple of months, and all the vendors and the couple came together to make it a remarkable real wedding + styled shoot.
