From Simply Put Vintage:
This shoot was inspired by a small, quaint Italian restaurant downtown. What is extra special about this cozy corner restaurant is that it is the same building my great grandfather used to run his grocery store in. I incorporated organic elements, like the potted herbs, loaves of fresh bread, and European dough bowls overflowing with flowers, along with historical elements, such as the private historic Raleigh home, the vintage pews, and the old farm table. These images are a fusion of organic and historic qualities. Some of my favorite natural elements were the olive branch garlands lining the aisle and the flowers by Tre Bella that crawled up the side of the exposed wood framing.
The 1800’s farm table was full of antique white and gold china, wine glasses (red and white, of course!), mismatched flatware, and pretty little menus created by Victoria Austin Designs. I love how Tori of Victoria Austin Designs perfectly captured the feeling of this shoot in the invitation suite, too!
