Built in the middle of the rainforest, Origins Lodge is a venue unlike any other. With multiple open-air structures, it's like getting married in the chicest treehouse you've ever seen. Playing up the natural colors, this wedding inspiration pulls in deep magentas and, of course, rich greens. The background is bursting with life as the bride, looking like a woodland goddess, emerges from the forest. After the ceremony, the bride and groom enjoy all there is to see on the property, including an adorable horse that makes a special appearance. The two then celebrate under the canopy of the grand chalet and take a midnight dip in the pool once the guests have taken their leave. 

Red Velvet Weddings designed and planned this tropical inspiration shoot at Origins Lodge. Art|flowers incorporated the natural surrounding colors into every arrangement, making it feel like the enchanted forest was taking over the venue. These photos by Sylvia Guardia Photography look like something out of a fantasy, there's not another person in sight, just paradise for as far as the eye can see. Destination Wedding Stories was also there to capture this inspiration on video as it came to life. AN ENCHANTED FOREST

The enchanted forest was the primary inspiration for the design of this shoot, incorporating every vendor's unique style to produce a very special shoot full of colors and perfect in every single way! We were inspired by the venue, Origins Lodge, located in the mountains of Guanacaste. It was the perfect location–full of nature and details that enhanced our plans. We are thrilled to show the results to every couple out there ready to fall in love with Costa Rica.

THE TEAM THAT CREATED PARADISE

Immersed in the Costa Rican mountains, Red Velvet Weddings hosted an Enchanted Forest-inspired wedding for Daniel and Mariana. Origins Lodge was the selected venue because of its perfect location and the magnificent views overlooking the Miravalles Volcano. The flowers and decor were designed by Art|flowers, Costa Mesa, and The White Room. The dessert table by Victoria Zoch included a wedding cake and assorted mini sweets. The experienced Costa Rican photographer, Sylvia Guardia, in association with Destination Wedding Stories, told the love story through their images and video.

A SECLUDED CEREMONY 

The chalet was the ceremony's magical venue, an open vortex symbolizing the positive energy of the moon and sun. Mariana's dress, designed by Yasmine Layani, was chosen for its neckline and feminine style. Daniel's attire was custom-made by the local designer, Kingsman. The delicate and natural look of Mariana's makeup and hair is the work of Nadia Cambronero.
