Northern California wine country doesn't always have to be about vineyards and wine. A rustic and romantic working horse ranch was the inspiration for this shoot.
An organic floral crown, a stunning couple, and so many gorgeous details brought together this rustic, barn affair. Cody, the signature horse, was the cherry on top! From Ashley Brand of LVL Weddings and Events: I wanted to create a comfortable but elegant dining experience within the horse stables. The long family style table created the feeling of being at home surrounded by friends and family with communal bench seating. I wanted to keep a soft, natural and organic color palette to perfectly compliment the beauty of the property without taking away from it. The greenery and touches of white floral proved to be the best duo for this tablescape.
To incorporate some interest and texture, we added some fresh pears to keep within the color palette while still showcasing the farm to table style that is so prevalent in this area. The wood handled flatware and brown speckled china were the perfect earthy touches to tie in the rustic, stable atmosphere. But even with a soft, neutral palette, I still like to incorporate little touches of color. There were some subtle pink touches in the floral and one of my favorite details were the adorable linen menus with printed with a burgundy colored font.
