2 Brides Photography was booked on our next couples actual wedding, so they decided to do an after wedding shoot. Since the bride works as a prop stylist and set designer, she was able to incorporate all the details from their wedding day — and she got to wear her dress twice!
This is such a charming idea, and as you will see it turned into a very beautiful shoot. Hues of pink and turquoise dominate the color scheme of this fabulous photo shoot. From the Bride:I wanted a cozy, intimate feeling. The theme was rustic garden. I used different kinds of pink peonies and garden roses in my bouquet and for the centerpieces. We had big signs that we had painted like chalkboards as the menu and as a welcome sign. The beautiful pink china comes from Mateus. I just LOVE it. I used Popsicle sticks as seating cards and wrote the name of the guests on them with a stamp. I used the same ink pad to make the sticks look old and kind of dirty.
We used a lot of Pompoms from Hemlangtan in pink, white and turquoise to soften up the rustic feeling a bit. The vases are actually glass jars that I have saved for a while. I just decorated them with some nice paper or lace. I found some old keys and put them in water and salt to make them rusty. I had them as table decorations. I love to bake so I baked small pies with strawberry and rhubarb. I also made strawberry rhubarb jam for the guests to take home. I put real flowers on the cake from Holy Sweet. I just love peonies.
