There's nothing scarier than a sudden turn in the weather for your wedding day, and that's exactly what happened at this styled shoot at Roger Williams Park in Rhode Island. Despite the sudden downpour, Eli De Faria + her team of talented vendors proved that you can still have gorgeous wedding photos even on the rainiest of days.
The neutral-toned wedding bouquet from Earth & Vessel looked totally dreamy next to the bride-models blush wedding dress by Free People. And we especially loveeeee the rustic meets chic tablescape + hand-drawn invitation suite! Catch all the must-see details below for more, and grab a closer look at the entire shoot in the full gallery.
From Eli De Faria: Planning this shoot came with some challenges, like the crazy rain we were not prepared for. Every bride's worst nightmare amirite? Though the rain had no mercy, we continued to push forward and prove that even with dark clouds and some water, you can still have wonderful photos of your wedding. We didn't get the sunset we wanted, but we got to dance in the rain, and we had a blast while doing it.
For a table, we used an antique factory cart. The wood was rugged and rich with history. To complement it, we layered soft and silky runners from Silk & Willow and used comfortable pillows for a floor dining experience.
Savannah of Earth & Vessel hand-drew and calligraphed the perfect invitation sweet on handmade paper by Silk & Willow. The green details tied in with the tones of the environment and the florals which she also designed.
We partnered with Eli De Faria to share this dreamy wedding shoot with you. As always, thank you for supporting our sponsors!
